Bisila Noha Ceramics is based in London. Bisila is a potter interested in making pieces that tell a story.
That can be both functional and decorative.
That work well individually, but much better in groups.
While the forms tend to be simple, it is the textures and decoration that make the pieces unique. No two pieces will be identical, which not only makes them special but also reflect Bisila’s hand and eye behind them.
Some of the pieces you will find here are part of conceptual projects, through which she reflects upon her own self and background, our past and traditions, nature and the way we approach design and crafts nowadays.
Handwork, because it has nature behind it, has a way of fostering good life.
