Lonetree is the brainchild of two sisters, Emma Bensalem and Sara Hall.
As sisters, a lifelong, joint passion for photography, design and illustration, and a love of all things paper has led to venture, Lonetree. Working from our studio on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors they have waved goodbye to their past lives as an architect and food buyer and embraced the world of running about with camera tripods, hoarding paper and colour swatch books and designing unique and intelligent stationery.
Lonetree now has a faithful following, including some wonderful stores and galleries, such as Liberty of London, Waterstones, Paperchase, The National Maritime Museum, and Turner Contemporary – not to mention many lovely independent stores in the UK and abroad.
Owing to their success in the world of paper Lonetree have also launched, in 2015, their Design Hub where many of their collections can now be accessed by customers to use on other lifestyle products, from ceramics and textiles to prints and stationery, as well as offering an independent design service to companies looking for product and packaging artwork.
Lonetree are proud to use a carbon neutral certified printer (that diverts 99% of their dry waste from landfill) heavy grammage paper that is made 100% wind power and FSC accredited envelopes, produced in the Lake District.
